Breakthrough Detergent Strips Revolutionize Laundry Forever: Save Time, Money, Hassle, & the Environment?

By Sara Atkinson  |

Bonnie Thomas, 67, never dreamed plastic would kill one of her dearest friends.

Recently retired, Bonnie volunteered twice a week at the local aquarium. She loved all the marine animals, but one had taken a special liking to her: an adorable little sea otter named Sprout.
Every day, Bonnie looked forward to seeing Sprout: the excited sea otter would wiggle herself up to Bonnie, wanting to play... but then something heartbreaking happened.

One morning, Bonnie arrived to find her supervisor in tears. When she asked what was wrong, the answer struck her to the core: Sprout had passed away during the night.

I was in shock,” Bonnie recalls. “I’d just seen Sprout two days earlier and she seemed perfectly healthy.”

Desperate for answers, Bonnie spoke to the facility’s vet. Sprout, it turns out, had ingested some plastic before arriving at the aquarium. The night she died, the plastic had suddenly dislodged — causing severe internal bleeding.

Devastated, Bonnie started researching the impact of plastic waste on our oceans.

Plastic kills over one million marine animals every year,” she discovered. “I knew I had to cut down on plastic any way I could.”

Some changes were easy: Bonnie switched to reusable water bottles, glass tupperware, silicone food-storage bags, etc. But she struggled to find a plastic-free alternative to one very essential household item: laundry detergent.

“It was beyond frustrating,” she said. “I considered detergent pods but they’re even worse! They come in these oversized containers, and those plastic pod-wrappings drain right out to the ocean. I even tried making my own detergent — what a mess! It made my washer act up and ruined some of my favorite clothes.”

Bonnie faced two choices: be reminded of Sprout and feel guilty every time she does laundry, or find a plastic-free laundry detergent solution.

She could never have imagined where the solution would finally come from…

With nowhere left to turn, Bonnie wrote a Facebook post pleading with Americans to stop using detergent pods and liquid laundry soap. In the comments section, one woman offered a surprising suggestion...
Louise Jennings
Hey there, so sorry to hear about Sprout, that’s awful. I’m plastic-free, too, and I’ve been using these Earthwash laundry strips for 6 months now. No waste, no chemicals, 100% safe. This stuff is even gentler on my fabrics and my skin than most detergents.
Intrigued but still skeptical, Bonnie messaged her to get more details.

“It almost seemed too good to be true,” she said. “But I was still really upset about little Sprout and I desperately wanted to do right by her.”

Two days later, she got a reply — what Bonnie now calls a blessing:

“Just try them and see what you think,” wrote Louise. “They’re 100% plastic-free — even the packaging. Plus, they’ve actually been saving me money. Each sheet is pre-measured for one load. If you don’t need the whole thing you can just tear it in half or use as much as you need.”

Bonnie was amazed: finally, a plastic-free laundry solution.

“She was right,” Bonnie said. “I honestly wasn’t even thinking about how well they’d work... I just wanted something that wouldn’t kill a family of sea turtles! But I was stunned: they cleaned my clothes just as well as any other detergent I’ve used, if not better.”

EarthWash helped me mourn the loss of sweet Sprout,” says Bonnie. “It’s an added bonus that it saves me time and money. There’s no more measuring... I just toss half a strip in with the wash. I ordered 6 more boxes for myself and some for my friends at the aquarium!”

These genius little strips make laundry convenient, affordable, and eco-friendly…

EarthWash Strips are a more affordable and dramatically more “eco-friendly” alternative to liquid, powder, or pod detergents.

These lightweight, ultra-concentrated strips are proven to rid clothes of stains and odors just as well as leading detergent brands... but they’re 100% plastic-free and ocean-safe.

EarthWash also contains none of the harmful chemicals found in most detergents: things like parabens, dyes, and phosphates. So, it’s better for sensitive skin and doesn’t pollute the environment with chemicals in the wash-water.

Even the packaging is plastic-free and biodegradable. One box of EarthWash weighs less than a single detergent pod and it’s 6x’s smaller than a jug of liquid soap! That means: no more bulky containers, no more spills, and lots more cabinet space.

And since EarthWash strips are pre-measured, doing laundry just got a lot easier and a lot more convenient.

Compatible with every type of washer (top-loaders, front-loaders, HE machines, etc.) and water-soluble in any temperature, EarthWash is the best way to save money, save time, and eliminate plastic laundry waste — without sacrificing cleaning power.

With over 86,858 boxes of EarthWash sold, we had to try it for ourselves...

We’ve read hundreds of positive reviews by happy customers, but in order to give EarthWash our complete approval, we had to test it for ourselves. So, we ordered 3 boxes (which arrived the very same week) and started carefully recording the results.

  2. My Review of EarthWash

Week 1

I wanted to try EarthWash because I’m tired of lugging around jugs of detergent. They’re heavy and they’re messy — I almost always end up spilling every time I do a load. Plus, I’m trying to be eco-friendly anyway, so I figured why not? I used one EarthWash strip in a normal load of laundry and simply waited for it to finish.

RESULT: After drying my clothes, I did a full inspection. I was honestly amazed. With other detergents I’d usually feel some residue left in my clothes, they’d often be stiff or irritate my skin. This was NOT the case with EarthWash: my clothes were super soft, they smelled fresh, and they felt great on my skin.

Week 2

For my next load, I wanted to see if EarthWash could get rid of stains. Sure, it worked great on an average load of laundry, but what about stain removal? So, I threw an EarthWash strip into the machine with some grease-stained jeans and waited.

RESULT: I wasn’t expecting a ‘miracle’ – sometimes my usual detergent doesn’t even get rid of stubborn stains, so how could an “eco-friendly” alternative do it? I came back to inspect my jeans and I was shocked: it was completely grease-stain free. I was pretty much sold on EarthWash, but still wanted to test it out longer.

Week 3

After using EarthWash for three weeks now, I am completely amazed at how well it works. Doing laundry is so easy, my laundry room is spotless, and even my skin feels less irritated. And here’s the absolute best part — I’ve actually ended-up saving money with this product and it feels great to do something for the environment.

MY FINAL THOUGHTS

After trying them out for myself, I’m officially convinced that EarthWash is the #1 best way to do laundry. Although I was skeptical at first, they really clean clothes just as well — if not better — than regular detergent. If you’re looking for an eco-friendly detergent alternative, or just a more convenient laundry soap, I highly recommend trying EarthWash for yourself.
